Fall Fun

I haven't blogged lately but nothing exciting has been happening. :) So, this past weeked i had a halloween party for a few of my friends. We carved pumpkins and had dinner. It was so much fun.. I felt like a little girl again carving my pumpkin. I will post a picture soon.

Fall is in the air

Fall is absolutely my FAVORITE season of the year. I love everything about it. The football games, the trees changing colors, hot chocolate on crisp nights, children trick-o-treating in their costumes, pumpkin patches, hay rides, fall carnivals, and Most of all the cooler weather. I recently decorated my apartment for fall and i added extra ones for my family who has been patiently waiting to see my new apartment. ENJOY!

Its just the beginning

As i begin my career in blogging I have successfully completed one semester of nursing school and am comfortably in my second. My hopes in this is to keep my family and friends "in the know" because lets face it I don't have time to talk to all of you.
In closing i will leave you with my daily prayer for the next two years of my life.

EVERY NURSING STUDENT'S PRAYER:Dear God: I know we go through this everyday, but please give me the knowledge as to why I actually wanted to go to nursing school. God, give me the strength to make it through those boring 3 hour lectures without falling asleep. God, please give me the patience to make it through 12 hour clinicals with instructors who can't just give you the right answer. On the same note, give the nurses the ability to remember what it was like to be a student and give us just a little more respect. God, give me the endurance to read all the assigned readings and be able to remember it when I am taking a test with 4 right answers. God, give my family and friends the ability to realize I really am on the edge of insanity. Finally, God, give me the vision to see that one day I will be a real nurse and I will never have to wear this ugly uniform again. Amen
